On Tuesday, December 2nd, the Falcon 9 soared into the Florida sky from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The mission successfully deployed 29 new Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit just 1 hour and 5 minutes after liftoff at 5:18 p.m. EST (2218 GMT). This particular mission saw the Falcon 9's first stage, known as Booster 1077 (B1077), make its 25th flight. After its ascent, the booster returned to Earth, landing on the autonomous drone ship, "A Shortfall of Gravitas," in the Atlantic Ocean. A remarkable feat of engineering, wouldn't you agree?
The newly launched Starlink satellites, designated as Group 6-95, are now part of SpaceX's growing megaconstellation, which already boasts over 9,100 operational relays.
